Born and raised in San Francisco, Bob received his M.B.A. from Stanford Business School and his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College. Bob joined the team in 1996, succeeding his father-in-law Stephen Walter, as Chairman of D. N. & E. Walter & Company. Bob provides corporate governance, identifies and vets new investment opportunities.

Prior to joining the Walter companies, Bob was President and CEO of two San Franciscan companies founded by his grandfather in the late 1800s, the MJB Company and the Western Can Company. In 1985, Bob oversaw the sale of both companies to Nestle and Continental Can, respectively.

Bob has been an active member of the Executive and Acquisition Committees of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco for the past 25 years. He was instrumental in contributing to the atmosphere and design of the new de Young building. He has also actively supported the museum’s permanent art collection with donations of significant pieces from his private collection.

Bob is married to Daphne Walter Bransten, a fourth generation descendent of one of the founding Walter brothers, Moritz Walter. The Branstens have three adult daughters, all who continue to live and work in the San Francisco Bay Area. All three daughters are or have been actively involved with the Walter companies, in addition to working and contributing to the good of the greater Bay Area.

Bob has dedicated himself with energy and generosity, not only to the company, but also to the community and to the extended family. He is always available for advice, direction, and support.

Jennifer W. Fowler, Esq. has been a Director of D. N. & E. Walter & Co. since 1983. As a board member and corporate secretary, Jennifer maintains historical corporate records for the Walter companies. She provides guidance related to corporate governance and investment review. Jennifer has practiced law for 34 years and specializes in Trust & Estates and Elder Law in New York State. A fourth generation Walter, Jennifer maintains an active role in corporate business.

Jennifer is committed to a broad range of charitable causes. From her service in the United States Peace Corps/ Costa Rica as a public health worker in 1968 to board positions at FIRST Inc. (now part of the United Way of Westchester), and other public health, mental health, veterans health and adolescent health issues, Jennifer continues to seek ways to make a difference in the communities she serves as an attorney.

Prior to moving to the New York City metropolitan area, Jennifer earned a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley. She then moved to New York to pursue a Masters at Columbia University, Teachers College. After teaching at a private high school in New York City for several years, Jennifer attained a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. Jennifer has a private law practice in New Rochelle, New York, where she raised her two sons.

Patricia joined the Walter companies’ team in 2000 and is currently responsible for oversight of the operating entities as well as project and development management of the office and industrial properties. Her focus is asset management, construction management, leasing, financing and entitlements, as well as overseeing the financial, investment and tax reporting functions.

Prior to joining the Walter companies, Patricia was a tax manager with Arthur Andersen LLP’s real estate tax advisory group as well as Deloitte Tax’s private client services group. Prior to this Patricia was a management consultant providing business consulting on a wide range of services which included competitive product positioning, strategic planning and acquisition strategies.

Patricia is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, NAIOP and the San Francisco Housing Action Coalition’s regulatory committee. She holds an M.B.A. degree in Finance, from New York University and a M.S. degree in Taxation, from Golden Gate University.

Anne Bransten Wooster joined the Walter companies’ team in 2004. She is an active member of the Board of Directors and a Vice President. She is currently responsible for vetting new real estate investments and serving as a bridge between the fourth and the fifth generations. She is a fifth generation Walter descendent and is involved in the oversight of the businesses. In addition to her work with the Walter companies, she is a full time residential realtor at Coldwell Banker in Marin County, where she has consistently earned at the top one percent level.

Prior to joining the Walter companies, Anne held business to business software sales positions at Oracle and Allegis.

With the exception of her time pursuing her B.A. degree at Duke University, Anne has spent most of her life in the Bay Area. She currently resides in Ross, CA with her husband Peter, and their two children.

Stacy joined the Walter companies’ team in 2006 and is currently responsible for corporate and property accounting functions, including property budgeting, annual audit oversight, monthly financial reporting, income tax and financial forecasting. She also works closely with the COO on due diligence and development project modeling.

Prior to joining the Walter companies, Stacy worked in public accounting and in various operations roles in the tech, transportation and wine imports industries.

Stacy is a licensed CPA and holds a M.S. degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University and a B.B.A from Western Michigan University.

Monina de la Paz joined the Walter companies’ team in 2014 and is currently responsible for corporate and portfolio accounting, including managing the monthly portfolio reporting process, monthly financial reporting, preparing quarterly Board packages, and all accounts payable functions. She also works closely with the COO on due diligence and valuation efforts.

Prior to joining the Walter companies, Monina was a senior accountant on the audit team at Good & Fowler, LLP focusing on their non-profit practice.

Monina is a licensed CPA and earned her B.A. degree in Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
